About The Job

Blue Door seeks a skilled full-time Senior Graphic Designer to join the creative team. You will have a well-rounded graphic design and branding background and be a creative problem solver. In this role, you will report directly to the Art Director and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver design solutions across digital and print platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the design, digital, and public relations teams to execute creative outputs.
  • Responsible for maintaining brand consistency across all projects following brand visual guidelines.
  • Create compelling layouts, illustrations, and graphics that communicate key messages.
  • Deliver creative projects on time and in line with creative briefs.
  • Own projects from concept to delivery.
  • Envision and facilitate the development of fully integrated advertising, branding, digital, social and content projects by providing ideas and visual concepts that are compelling and on-brand.
  • Provide accurate and timely production-ready artwork files for print and digital.
  • Organize and maintain design assets as per the process used in the design department.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Explore design, marketing, signage and packaging innovations and propose new ways to elevate design assets.
  • Present concepts to clients for discussion and approval compellingly and authoritatively.
  • Build relationships with clients, partner agencies, photographers, model agencies, and other vendors.
  • Contribute to the innovative development of the creative department.
  • Track hours, maintain budgets and manage your workflow and process.

 

Requirements

  • A minimum of 4-5 years of experience as a graphic designer in an agency and/or in-house is required. Agency experience is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of design software and prototyping tools, such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A strong understanding of creating assets for digital marketing.
  • In-depth industry knowledge of standard formats.
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Experienced working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work.
  • Excellent creativity and the ability to translate concepts into visually appealing designs.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Experience and confidence when meeting clients and presenting your work.

      Hybrid Workplace

      Throughout the work week, you will be expected to work from Blue Door’s HQ at 183 Bathurst Street a minimum of two days per week and at various venues belonging to the client as required. We believe the best work is done as a team, collaboratively brainstorming while building relationships.
